The love of dance, for me, has always been in the music and the people you’re dancing with, of course I enjoyed winning trophies, who doesn’t? but, I questioned if it was worth the pageantry and politics.

I set up Dance Irish initially as a community hub, where anyone was invited to come and give it a go, now we’ve grown to multiple classes per week and are proud to say that we are a dance company, fully focused around Irish Dance.

We learn and grow using enjoyable and sometimes entertaining methods! We perform for charities and of course on St Patricks day! We go to shows in our local theatres, alongside monthly coffee mornings after class. Most importantly we genuinely just love to Dance Irish!

Please note that we are open to people of all ages and all levels, this includes newcomers its great way to get fit and also test the mind with something new.
